‘Endangered Plants and Animals of the Pacific Northwest’ is a new yearly feature in the Issaquah Salmon Days Parade, which celebrates the return of the local salmon population for spawning season. Spotlighting species that are endangered in the region, the ongoing performance aims to raise awareness and compassion for the varied inhabitants of our planet. Additional characters will be added on a yearly basis.
